Recently- the George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin case in Florida has caused many celebrities and black activist groups to spread a message urging fans and supporters to boycott the entire state of Florida.

For those of you living in a hole, who don’t know about the case, here is a summary: A mixed-race Hispanic man named George Zimmerman was recently acquitted of murdering  a 17-year-old African American boy, named Trayvon Martin. The acquittal has sparked out cries of racism, a demand for the annihilation of The Stand Your Ground Law, and a recent string of requests to boycott the entire state of Florida.

This marks nothing but guilt by association. Martin Luther King III has requested that people refuse to purchase orange juice made in the state of Florida. Stevie Wonder has decided to never play a concert in the state of Florida again. Others have called to boycott Disney…
